Effective and Management Communication

  • Process and Problems of Communication – Back to back communication activity wherein one student describes an illustration to a partner who must reproduce the illustration through effective listening and comprehension. 

  • Barriers to Communication – Role play of barriers in various situations; Case study 

  • Non-verbal Communication – Games like Pictionary and Dumb charades to understand communication using expressions, gestures and visuals. 

  • Public Speaking – Delivery of speeches to enable students to implement their theoretical learning in practical situations. 

  • Cross-cultural Communication – Role play 

  • Essentials of Verbal Communication – Activities to explain tone, pitch, emphasis etc.; Game Taboo to understand how to use one’s vocabulary and lateral thinking skills to communicate effectively.

  • Seven C’s of Communication – Exercises wherein students have to rephrase communication by applying the C’s of communication.
